Privacy Policy

Who we are

Grow Wild is a farm management app operated by The Wild Familiar (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use Grow Wild at growwild.app, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions can go to privacy@growwild.app.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and an account identifier from our sign-in provider. If you sign in with Google, this comes from your Google account (see “Google user data” below).
• Phone number. If you choose text messages as your second sign-in step, your mobile phone number, which we use only to send you sign-in codes.
• Farm records you enter. Your farm and property names, addresses and map locations, the beds and fields you draw, crops, plantings, inventory, harvests, sales, journal notes, and similar records.
• Contacts you add. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, and notes for customers and suppliers you record in Grow Wild. You are responsible for having the right to share this information with us.
• Invite requests. The email address you give when you request an invite.
• Technical information. Your IP address and basic request details, used to keep the service secure and to limit abuse. We use a cookie only to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use your information

• To provide Grow Wild: sign you in and store and show your farm records.
• To respond to invite requests and contact you about your account.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Google user data

If you choose “Sign in with Google”, Grow Wild requests only your basic profile: your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this solely to create your account and sign you in. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google data.

We store your name, email address, and Google account identifier with your Grow Wild account. We do not share Google user data with third parties except the service providers that host and run Grow Wild on our behalf, and we never use it for advertising, sell it, or use it to train AI or machine learning models.

Grow Wild’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can remove Grow Wild’s access at any time from your Google Account permissions.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run Grow Wild, and only as needed for them to do so:

• Google Identity Platform handles sign-in and sends the text messages that carry sign-in codes.
• Google Cloud hosts the app and stores your data in the United States.
• Resend sends sign-in emails, such as password resets and email verification.
• Google Maps provides the farm map’s satellite photos. Its requests are subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Esri provides the street map, and the photos when Google’s aren’t available. Its requests are subject to Esri’s Privacy Statement.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and farm records while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and farm records within 30 days, except where we must keep something to meet a legal obligation. Invite requests are kept until we respond or you ask us to remove them.

Security

We encrypt data in transit with HTTPS, restrict access to the systems that store your data, and keep the service updated. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects it, as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can view and change your farm records in the app at any time. To get a copy of your data, correct your account details, or delete your account, email privacy@growwild.app. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law; we will honor them.

Children

Grow Wild is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, let you know by email or in the app.
